Survivors of the Dog Meat Trade is a portrait series by photographer, artist and dog advocate Sophie Gamand (creator of Pit Bull Flower Power) in partnership with Humane World for Animals. Gamand lends her talent to showcase the resilience, beauty and individuality of dogs rescued by Humane World for Animals from the South Korea dog meat industry, who have now become part of loving families. 

This photo collection includes over 40 dogs of different breeds and sizes and is designed to change public perceptions, influence policymakers and build national and international momentum in support of Humane World for Animals' campaign to end the dog meat trade.
