1. Disclosure; Sweepstakes Period
NO DONATION, PURCHASE, OR OBLIGATION OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO WIN. A DONATION OR PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. YOU HAVE NOT YET WON. THE ODDS OF WINNING DEPEND UPON THE NUMBER OF ENTRIES RECEIVED. The LETC Survey Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins on March 16th, 2026 and ends on April 6th, 2026 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Entries must be received by April 6th, 2026 to be eligible.
2. Eligibility
The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who, at the time of entry, are at least eighteen (18) years of age or the legal age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is older. Employees and independent contractors of Humane World for Animals (“Humane World”), its affiliates, and/or any other individual or entity involved in the development, promotion, or execution of the Sweepstakes, and the immediate family members and/or household members of each are not eligible. By participating in the Sweepstakes, you fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these official sweepstakes rules (the “Official Rules”) and by Humane World’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
3. To Enter
To enter the Sweepstakes, individuals/officers will complete a brief survey about Humane World. Limit 1 Entry per person (the “Entry Limit”). All Entries received in excess of the Entry Limit will be disqualified. Any attempt by an entrant to obtain additional entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that entrant’s Entries and that entrant may be disqualified. Use of scripts, macros, other automated entry software or programs, and/or other means or practices which subvert the entry process is prohibited, and all Entries received in such a manner will be disqualified. An Entry will also be disqualified if it is illegible, incomplete, if it fails to meet the required specifications, or if it is received before the Sweepstakes Period begins or after it ends.
4. How the Winner Will Be Determined
One (1) winner (the “Winner”) will be determined through a random drawing, conducted by Humane World, of all eligible Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The drawing will take place on or about April 7th, 2026. The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible Entries received.
5. Prizes
The Winner will receive a bulk order of snacks delivered to their office (the “Prize”). The Prize shall be awarded according to the terms and conditions set forth in §§ 6-7 below.
The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the Prize is $250 USD.
6. Prize Terms and Restrictions
The Prize is not transferable. No substitution of the Prize is permitted except at the sole discretion of Humane World, and Humane World reserves the right to substitute the Prize or any portion thereof with another prize of equal or greater value if the Prize becomes unavailable for any reason. No cash prize will be awarded. The actual retail value of the Prize may vary. A Winner will not receive the difference between the actual retail value of the Prize and the ARV. Any federal, state, or local taxes on the Prize and any expenses related to the acceptance and/or use of the Prize not specified herein as being awarded are the responsibility of the Winner.
7. Winner Notification/Prize Claims
The Winner will be notified via email by April 10th. In the event that the Winner is unable to accept the Prize, the Prize will be forfeited and, at Humane World’s sole discretion, may be awarded to an alternate Winner. Further, in the event of noncompliance with these Official Rules, or if the Prize or prize notification is unclaimed or returned as undeliverable, the Prize will be forfeited and, at Humane World’s sole discretion, may be awarded to an alternate Winner. If a dispute arises as to the identity of the Winner, the Winner will be deemed to be the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning Entry. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned to an email address by the internet access provider, online service provider, internet service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.
8. Additional Terms
By accepting the Prize, the Winner consents to Humane World’s use of his or her name, likeness, voice, and/or biographical information for promotional and other purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. By accepting the Prize, the Winner acknowledges compliance with these Official Rules and agrees to release Humane World, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, independent contractors, representatives, and agents (“Releasees”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or the receipt, redemption, or use of the Prize, including any injuries or damages of any kind sustained in connection with the use, acceptance, possession, or awarding of the Prize.
9. Limitation of Liability
Releasees are not responsible for printing, typographical, human or other errors of any kind in any Sweepstakes-related materials or for stolen, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, returned, postage due, separated, undelivered, incomplete, unintelligible, or illegible Entries. Releasees are also not responsible for malfunctions of electronic equipment, computer hardware, or software or other technical problems related to any website, including, without limitation, any injury or damage to any computer or computer equipment related to or resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes. Releasees make no warranty, representation, or guarantee, whether express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the use of the Prize or any portion thereof. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, or infection by computer viruses, bugs, or tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, actions of entrants, technical failures, or any other causes corrupt or infect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Humane World reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any Entry or entrant and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes and, at its sole discretion, award the Prize from among all eligible non-suspect Entries validly received prior to the action requiring such modification. Persons found to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Sweepstakes, as determined solely by Humane World, will be disqualified along with any and all associated Entries. Further, any attempt to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes Website may also be in violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Humane World reserves the right to seek remedies and damages (including attorney’s fees) from any such individual to the fullest extent of the law, including criminal prosecution. By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees that the Sweepstakes is governed only by the laws of the District of Columbia for the resolution of all claims and disputes (excluding any claims against or disputes involving parties other than Humane World relating to any prize awarded in the Sweepstakes).
10. Privacy
Except as otherwise provided in this section and/or as otherwise expressly indicated on the Sweepstakes Website, information submitted in connection with the Sweepstakes will be treated in accordance with these Official Rules and Humane World’s privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”), which may be amended from time to time and which is currently available at http://www.humanesociety.org/privacy.html. If there is any conflict between these Official Rules and the Privacy Policy, the terms and conditions of the Official Rules shall prevail. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, by entering the Sweepstakes, each entrant consents to Humane World’s use of the personal information contained on his or her Entry as required to administer the Sweepstakes and deliver the Prize.
